Forty-eight hours out from Thanksgiving, with the whole family driving in, the freezer column quit holding temperature and I started moving food to the neighbours. Someone was at the house before nine the following morning, found the defrost circuit had failed, and fitted a genuine Sub-Zero part instead of whatever was nearest to hand. The number he gave me on the phone was the number on the invoice — I checked, because nobody ever is.
The inner glass on our Wolf 48-inch oven door had delaminated and gone permanently fogged — you could not see a roast through it at all.
